Sudersan Sridhar joined STSI, Pune from July 2021 as a Modeling & Simulation Engineer for the Enabling Technology Development group. He is a Direct PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India where his work in the Smart Material Characterization Lab focused on magneto-mechanical coupled response in functional materials. His expertise in nonlinear Finite Element Analysis has allowed him to delve into a number of physics-based modeling approaches for various problems such as buckling, shock, stability and fatigue to name a few.
